Our staff has been providing professional equestrian services in the Bay Area since 1970. We have established programs for starting young horses and for introducing riders to a variety of disciplines. Whether you would like to go to a nationally recognized dressage show or enjoy a ride on the trail, we can get you there and guide you along the way.

Dan Byrum – President & CEO

Dan is a lifelong horseman who has spent as much time on the trail as in the ring.  He enjoyed Eventing before becoming more involved in Stable Management.  He’s been running facilities in the Bay Area since 2000.

Sam Bivins – Barn Manager, Trail Rides, Western Riding

Sam grew up in Purcell, Oklahoma where he worked mainly for livestock outfitters.  In 2008 he took a job in Jackson Hole Wyoming as a trail guide and became head wrangler in 2010.  He’s recently moved into the Bay Area and we’re most fortunate to have him as our Barn Manager now!  Sam enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as hunting waterfowl.

Jenny Davis –Hunter/ Jumper

Jenny runs the Hunter/Jumper program at Folger Stable and is an assistant trainer to John Bragg of Bridgeport Farms.

Ashlie St. Claire – Childrens Programs, Western Riding

Ashlie grew up in the Bay Area and has been training and giving riding lessons throughout her career.  She joined us last year primarily to take over the children’s programs and  teach Western Riding.
